Potterhanworth Parish Council are seeking applications for a committed self starter who wishes to join the team as a Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer.

Commencing as soon as possible

Part-time post – 10 hours per week (to be split between both roles with flexibility) and a hybrid working model. 

The Clerk/RFO is responsible to the P.C for:-

·         Managing the day-to-day business of the Council

·         Providing advice as the Council's Proper Officer & RFO

·         Implementing Council decisions

·         Managing and reporting on the Council’s finances

·         Producing minutes from all of the Council’s meetings

The Clerk and RFO is required to attend every Council meeting which are usually held at 7 p.m. on the last Monday of each month.

The location for the monthly meetings is The Pavillion, Queensway, Moor Lane LN4 2EA

Salary - You will be paid scale point 15 on the latest NJC scales. This equates to £15.08 per hour.
