We are delighted to announce that our village pub, The Chequers, which has been part of the village since the late 1700s has re-opened under a new tenancy and the Community are still actively involved in supporting the venture and ultimately purchasing the freehold, having a formed a Community Benefit Society, the Potterhanworth Community Partnership Ltd.
