Councillor John Giles (Vice-Chair)

I moved to Potterhanworth in 2007 with my wife and three young children. We already had friends here so were satisfying a long-held desire to be part of the village. My children have all attended the village school and participated in other local activities giving them, as it does so many others, the solid foundations on which to forge their futures.
The village has so much to offer and has some incredibly dedicated people who volunteer in so many ways to benefit the community, through charities, clubs, committees and events to name a few. I’m pleased to make my own small contribution through the parish council. My motivation is to see a thriving village which gives pride to all those who live here and leaves a lasting and positive impression to all those who visit.
